Warwick Farm and Rosehill hosted Sydney trials on Friday. Our analyst has Black Booked a pair of speedy winners that looks ready to perform when they step onto the track next.
Miss Trentino
The Baker mare went straight to the front of her 796m Warwick Farm trial and give a nice kick at the top of the straight to cruise away for an easy 3.5L win recording what was the fastest 796m win of the morning. She was impressive working through the grades last prep scoring 3 consecutive wins at Canberra, Newcastle and Canterbury. She’s a jump and run type that can hit the scoreboard early this prep.
Ice Kool
The Pfieffer 3yo has been outstanding recording 2 wins over 1000m at Randwick this prep and he looks to be going from strength to strength after his tick over 900m Rosehill trial. He jumped midfield and rolled straight to the front opening up a 5L lead on the turn. He went on with it with Jay Ford barely moving on him to record a 8.2L win. He is nominated for the Open 1100m July Sprint at Rosehill on Saturday. He gets into that race well with no weight and if Headwall doesn’t start he’d have to be considered with the right map.
