One of the more interesting features we do at The Sporting Base is a weekly feature on NFL rookies. Here are the top five rookies (offensive players and kickers) on winning teams from Week 3 of the 2026 season.
5) Josh Cameron
The Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver from Cedar Park, Texas had a 12-yard touchdown catch on Sunday in a 35-6 Jaguars win over the New England Patriots. Cameron’s 12-yard touchdown catch opened the scoring early in the second quarter. Cameron was the Jaguars’s sixth round pick (191st overall) out of Baylor University.
4) Matthew Hibner
The Baltimore Ravens rookie tight end from Burke, Virginia had two catches for 23 receiving yards and one touchdown on Sunday in Brazil in a 34-31 Ravens win over the Dallas Cowboys. Hibner’s touchdown was a two-yard touchdown catch from Lamar Jackson with a minute and a half left in the fourth quarter.
3) Drew Stevens
The Washington Commanders beat the Seattle Seahawks 33-31 for the Seahawks first loss since November 16, 2025. It was a notable game for Commanders rookie kicker Drew Stevens of Augusta, Georgia (home of the Masters). Stevens made field goals of 36 and 57 yards and made three converts. Stevens was undrafted, and played his college football at Iowa.
2) Mike Washington Jr.
The Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back from Utica, New York was the Raiders’s fourth round pick, 122nd overall in the 2026 NFL Draft out of the University of Arkansas. On Sunday, Washington Jr. had five rushes for 54 rushing yards and one touchdown in a 35-27 Raiders win over the New Orleans Saints. Washington Jr.’s touchdown was 36 yards.
1) Dominic Zvada
The New York Giants rookie kicker from Chandler, Arizona recorded all of the Giants scoring on Sunday in their 12-9 win over the Tennessee Titans. Zvada, who played last year at Michigan, made two field goals from 39 yards, and had field goals from 27 and 30 yards.
