Cameron Young of Scarborough, New York has won the 2026 Cadillac Championship. This was Young’s second PGA Tour win of the season and third of his career. He previously won the 2025 Wyndham Championship and the 2026 Players Championship. It should also be noted, that Young was one of our three best bets to win the Cadillac Championship.
At the Blue Monster in Doral, Florida this past week. Young had a winning score of -19. He had a first round score of eight-under-par, second round score of five-under-par, third round score of two-under-par, and a fourth round score of four-under-par.
There is no doubt Young got off to a great start. He had eight birdies and zero bogeys in his opening 18 holes.
Young steamrolled by the competition. The closest competitor was world number one Scottie Scheffler of Ridgewood, New Jersey, who was alone in second place at -13, six strokes back of Young.
This was in fact the third straight PGA Tour tournament that Scheffler finished in second place. At the Masters, Scheffler had a four round score of -11, and was one stroke back of champion Rory McIlroy of Holywood, Northern Ireland. Then, at the RBC Heritage, Scheffler had a four round score of -18, and lost to Matt Fitzpatrick of Sheffield, England in a playoff.
In the Official World Golf Rankings, Young is currently in third place behind Scheffler and MIlroy. The fourth round was attended by American President Donald Trump. There was speculation he would attend because the Blue Monster Golf Course in Doral, Florida is owned by Trump.
