Midweek debuts don’t come much more impressive than Our Emperor’s 3.6L win over 1100m at Warwick Farm. The grey colt showed terrific gate speed zipping to a clear lead from Gate 1. He showed a tremendous kick at the 300m to do it in style. He was only 0.09s outside the older more experienced horse in the BM68 in the following race. He could easily step up to Saturday company this time of year.
