Week 1 has now concluded in the 2026 National Football League regular season. Here is the top player at every position in fantasy football.
Quarterback–Caleb Williams
The Chicago Bears offense was firing on all cylinders on Sunday in a 59-37 win over the Carolina Panthers. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams of Washington, D.C. completed 21 of 29 passes for 269 passing yards along with two touchdowns. He also had 10 rushes for 65 rushing yards, and two major scores on the ground.
Running Back–Derrick Henry
The Baltimore Ravens running back from Yulee, Florida had 24 rushes for 144 rushing yards and three touchdowns, and one catch for 19 receiving yards in a 41-23 Ravens win over the Indianapolis Colts. Henry’s most notable touchdown run was for 32 yards and put the Ravens up 28-6.
Wide receiver–Christian Watson
The Green Bay Packers lost 39-22 to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, but it was a notable game for Packers wide receiver Christian Watson of Phoenix, Arizona. Watson had six catches for 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns. His day was highlighted by an 81 yard touchdown catch from Jordan Love in the first quarter.
Tight End–Isaiah Likely
The new New York Giants tight end from Cambridge, Massachusetts had eight catches for 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns on Sunday night in a 28-20 Giants upset win over the Dallas Cowboys. Likely came to New York from Baltimore with head coach John Harbaugh and they have had early success.
Kicker–Evan McPherson
The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 33-27 on Sunday thanks to an excellent day by kicker Evan McPherson of Fort Payne, Alabama. McPherson had field goals of 20 yards, 32 yards, 55 yards and 58 yards with three converts.
