The 2026 National Football League Draft took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania over the weekend. The Las Vegas Raiders selected quarterback Fernando Mendoza of Boston, Massachusetts first overall out of the University of Indiana. Over the weekend, three players with NFL experience were traded. Let’s take a look who they were and where they went to.

Jonathan Greenard

The Pro Bowl defensive lineman from Hiram, Georgia was traded from the Minnesota Vikings to the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday. The Eagles also received a seventh round pick in 2026, while the Vikings received a third round pick in 2026 and 2027.

Greenard is joining his third NFL team after four seasons with the Houston Texans from 2020 to 2023, and the last two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings from 2024 to 2025, where he was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2024. This past season, Greenard had 38 combined tackles (19 solo tackles and 19 assisted tackles), 10 tackles for a loss, 12 quarterback hits, three pass deflections, three sacks and one forced fumble.

In 2025, he had 35 combined tackles (25 solo tackles and 10 assisted tackles), eight tackles for a loss, six quarterback hits, one safety, one pass deflection, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and four sacks. The fumble recovery came in a 20-10 Raiders win over the Tennessee Titans on October 12, and the safety and two forced fumbles came in a 14-12 Raiders win over the Kansas City Chiefs on January 4.
