The New Zealand Warriors have won eight of their last 10 NRL games against the Gold Coast Titans in New Zealand including four of their last five; however, they were defeated 26-27 courtesy of a Tanah Boyd field goal in Golden Point the last time they hosted them (Round 25, 2022).
The New Zealand Warriors have lost only one of their last eight NRL games at Go Media Stadium (W6 D1) with their last five games at the venue seeing an average of 35.6 total points scored between the two teams on the day.
The Gold Coast Titans have lost all their six games in the 2024 NRL season, their worst ever start to a campaign; though, they have won one half in each of their last three games in the competition.
The Gold Coast Titans have lost 17 of their last 20 NRL games outside Queensland including their last eight in a row; though, four of their last seven defeats outside their home state have come by margins of four points or fewer on the day.
This will be the second time that the Gold Coast Titans have played an NRL game on ANZAC Day and the first since 2015 when they defeated the New Zealand Warriors 32-28 after trailing 12-18 at half-time on the day.
The Gold Coast Titans have led at half-time only once in the 2024 NRL campaign – the joint-fewest of any team – and went on to lose that game, while the New Zealand Warriors have won three of their four games when they’ve led at half-time on the day this season.
