Fashion Stakes fits that mould of a promising 3yo that finds an all-age maiden and a very weak one at that. Might need some luck from the draw, but think she is a nice filly and like how her form from her initial prep reads up. Neville Parnham has said he has an opinion of her and thought her recent trial when not asked to do a whole heap was a solid enough hit out. Really like her chances at around that $3.00 quote.

Rinse repeat with the 3yo formula, Invincible Ruby gives me the vibe she’s a real line chaser and with so much weak speed on here, she gets a great race to park behind them and blouse them late with a cutaway in play if Troy Turner need be. Loved her recent trial with the un-raced apprentice when having to cover some extra distance and think she looks a really sharp type. $5.00 a nice price.

Sky Duke I like as a horse but doesn’t give me the vibe he will appreciate being really taken on like I think he potentially could be here and perhaps 1000m is a slight query? Just think he’s under the odds at around $2.10.

Complete forgive run from this horse in the 3YO Classic. Just got shuffled back off a hot early speed and was completely chopped out at the top of the straight, never got a chance to show her best and she still hasn’t been beaten all that far. Think she’s much more tractable at 1200m and drops back sharply in grade here to a CL3. Just needs to find some luck/cover from the wide draw which is why $3.30 is my bet price for yet another promising 3yo type up against the older horses.

If One Cool Gal is as well supported closer to start time as she has been in early betting, I’m happy to have something small on Dream Evil.

She’s a complete fresh horse, all of her career best runs have been 1st up and prior to last prep’s fresh win trialled up like she’d be competitive in a Winterbottom so I like that she’s been kept even fresher for this. Nice soft map for a midfield run smothered up with just the 53kgs, small investment at the $6.00.
