The track is currently rated a Soft 7. Victorians are set to expect a cool day with a top temperature of 13 degrees. With the low winds, low temperature – Expect the damage to be done and the track to play firmly into the soft range.
The rail is out 2m for the entire meeting. We haven’t seen racing at Flemington for quite some time so the track will be fairly new and fresh. With the soft conditions expect the track to play slightly off rail and towards the outside rail in straight races.
